You can now easily add your favorite song to your Instagram profile. The song will be displayed right below the Instagram bio section but it will not play automatically. You and your followers will have to tap on the play button to listen to the song. 

Steps To Add Music To Instagram Profile

Before we talk about the steps, you first need to ensure that your Instagram app has been updated to the latest available version from the App Store for your iPhone or from the Google Play Store for your Android smartphones.

1. Launch the Instagram app on your smartphone.
2. Now, tap on the profile icon preset at the bottom right of the screen.
3. You will now be on your profile screen. Tap on the Edit Profile button.
   
4. Scroll down, and you should see the section where it says Music.
5. Tap on Music. You can now browse through the popular songs that are trending, or simply search for the song of your choice if it is available.
   
6. Once you find your song, tap on it and then adjust what part of the song you want to add to your profile.
   
7. Once you have done that, tap on the tick mark and you have now added a song to your profile.

Remove Song from your Instagram Profile

If you want to remove the song from your Instagram profile, you can follow these steps.

1. Open the Instagram app and navigate to your profile page.
2. Tap on the Edit Profile button and then tap on Music.
3. You will see a button that says Remove.
   
4. Tap on it to remove the song from your Instagram profile.
