To easily connect AirPods or AirPods Max with Samsung phone, first enable the Bluetooth on Phone > Open the AirPods case lid > Press and hold the button on the case until White light flashes, and then connect AirPods from Notification or Bluetooth settings page.
Connect AirPods to a Samsung Phone
Connecting AirPods to an iPhone is seamless, but it is also possible to connect AirPods with Android phones including Galaxy phones. The process could take longer than the iPhone, but it’s still easy.
Step 1: First, enable Bluetooth on your Samsung phone. You can enable it in two ways. First, from Quick Settings, pull down the Quick Settings, tap the Bluetooth, and make sure its highlighted. The second way is to go to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth > Turn On.
Step 2: Once the Bluetooth is enabled, bring the AirPods close to the phone. Then open the AirPods case lid. Don’t take out AirPods yet.
Step 3: With the lid open of the AirPods case, press and hold the button on the back of the case until the status light flashes White. For AirPods Max, press and hold the Noise control button until the status light flashes White.
Step 4: You will either see the AirPod in the notification or the Bluetooth Settings page. Tap on it and your Samsung phone will connect to AirPods.
That’s it, you can now use AirPods or AirPods Max with your Samsung Galaxy phone.
Remember that you will miss out on many features like Siri, and a few more features. But the quality of the audio will remain as good as connecting to the iPhone.
